My clients really enjoyed their brief holiday to Iceland. Larry is an avid diver, and actually went diving between the tectonic plates–how cool is that? For those less daring, you can also snorkel in the area.
While it was too warm to view the Northern Lights, they did lounge around in the Blue Lagoon and stay in Reykjavik for several nights soaking up the local culture (and ice wine?). Iceland is great for hikers and those that love the outdoors. Only a 6 hour flight to Reykjavik and with plenty of adventure activities, Iceland is great for an adventurous short getaway. Just be sure to bring your thermals!
