]]> If you like the Great Outdoors, then you must go to The Last Frontier, ALASKA!

I cruised for a week, stopping in Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Sitka and Ketchikan. We sailed all day through Glacier Bay National Park, which is full of glaciers such as Marjorie Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in the world with a 21-mile span back from its face! And, it moves 7 feet every day. WILD. And we saw lots of humpback whales, sea otters, bald eagles and even a bear!

Alaska was supposed to get 1.6 million visitors this summer, and this year it’s getting virtually zero. Talk about pristine wilderness!

But that doesn’t stop the whales from doing what they do every year, this bubble net fishing ritual in which they work together in a very coordinated strategy to catch fish.

The Alaska cruise season is very short, May to Sept, and is best done on a small ship. It’s a great trip for anyone who loves the outdoors (and hates the heat!) and alot of activities. Perfect for multi-generational families.

While 2020 is out, it IS possible to plan for next year so contact me if interested!
